Awesome Quote - "Small feet can lead to unsoundness."

Someone else wrote this, but I don't think they ever considered its meaning out of context. What do you think? I love it...it's like a Zen pun.

I found it a couple of years ago when I was researching God knows what for God knows why. Here is the original context: http://www.horseinfo.com/info/faqs/faqconformQ6.html

that certainly beats the old saying about journeys and single steps. ;-)

Great blog. I love THINGS THAT STAND OUT, BTW. beautifully written.

my favourite saying/quote is:

If the whole human race lay in one grave, the epitaph on its headstone might well be: "It seemed a good idea at the time."

Strange... posting my fav quote twice whilst blogging - first was in a blog called 'The Mental Blog', now here

Its a Zen saying

"If you understand, things are just as they are...
if you do not understand, things are just as they are"

Thanks for the comment on my blog A Cowboy's Wife. I really enjoy reading yours.
I like this quote..it was written on John Wayne's headstone.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at
midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands.
It hopes we've learnt something from yesterday.

I suspect that this saying sounds different prior to translation.

I'm guessing that the saying refers to the wisdom of establishing firm foundations for things, a bit like "feet of clay" from the Book of Daniel.

I like that saying...small feet can lead to unsoundness.....

I would interpret that to mean that if you are not willing to pound your way through this world then no one will hear what you have to say.

I think, anyways.

Neat saying though!
